Mr. McDonnell is President and Chief Executive Officer of DST Systems, Inc. He has been employed by DST since 1969 and President since 1973. He is a director of DST Systems, Inc.; Computer Sciences Corporation; Janus Capital Corporation; Ascential Software, Inc.; BHA Group, Inc.; Garmin LTD; Commerce Bancshares, Inc.; and Euronet Services, Inc.

Mr. McDonnell is actively involved in the community, serving as Chairman of the Civic Council of Greater Kansas City (1999-2001) and currently serving as a Past Chairman. He serves as a board member of The Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, Midwest Research Institute, Harry S. Truman Library Institute and is a Trustee of Rockhurst University. He also served as Chairman of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce in 1994.

Mr. McDonnell is a native of Kansas City. He received a BSBA degree from Rockhurst University in Accounting in 1966 and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968.
